Senior Project Manager, residential development

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

 

The Lewis Group of Companies, one of the largest privately held real estate developers in the nation, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Planned Community development group. This position would perform duties to include development and management of residential master-planned community projects throughout the Inland Empire area of S. California (San Bernardino & Riverside counties).

 

The right candidate will have senior-level experience in residential development, project management, and construction coordination and a significant related education from a recognized university; i.e.  bachelors degree minimum.

 

Qualified candidates should have 7+ years of direct experience either with a developer or homebuilder.  Duties would include the following:

 

· Effective management of all planned community project components

· Regulate the design and approval of projects on schedule and within budget

· Coordinate and review the work of various disciplines (scope of work, project requirements, project timeline)

· Manage specific plans, tract maps, improvement plans, building plans, etc

· Consult and manage outside contractors such as Architects, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Utility Consultants, Soils Engineers, Environmental Scientists and other professionals

· Represent company with various jurisdictional staff: City, County, Water Districts, etc. relative to plan approval.

· Review land package architectural requirements, design guidelines, precise grading plans, wall and fence plans, landscape plans, and various consultant work product

· Entitlement processing

· Maintain and monitor the status of projects, business plan targets, problem areas, and help to ensure that all aspects of a project are functioning efficiently.

· Coordinate and interact with heads/VPs of other Lewis divisions
