Utility Specialist

Miles Properties, Inc., one of the largest Residential Property Management Companies in the Southeast is looking for an experienced a Utilities Specialist for our properties in the Maryland area.

 

Utility Specialist – The Utility Specialist is expected to obtain timely and accurate readings on electric and natural gas meters for our residential community. Duties include collection activities on customer accounts and service disconnections and/or reconnections. This is a fast pace, physically demanding job that requires working in all types of weather conditions and environments.

 

Requirements – Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED, and must be willing to work overtime as required. Desirable qualifications include an associates degree or higher; electrical course work or experience; two or more years of customer service experience; previous meter reading experience and good human relations skills
