Vice President, Investments

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the position will be responsible for both investment management and transactions in an assigned geographic region.  The investment management functions include strategic portfolio management, understanding the markets/sub-markets in which we operate, monitoring asset performance, managing the capital expenditure process, and working closely with the Operations group to maximize property level performance.  The transactions functions include identifying acquisition and disposition candidates, working with brokers, attorneys, principals, and internal EQR people to purchase and sell assets, and performing due diligence on existing on to be acquired assets.

 

Direct reports include financial analysts and construction services personnel.  The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of similar real estate experience.  Bachelor's degree in real estate and/or finance or an MBA.
