Vice President - Workforce & Location Planning Group
The nation's fastest-growing national Tenant Representation firm is expanding its Boston-based Workforce & Location Planning Group (WLPG) to meet the significant increase in client and project activity. WLPG is searching for a key team player who will impact corporate strategy through our leading-edge service line. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work, skilled in workforce, demographics and location research, analysis and reporting. Our national client roster is growing and our role is expanding with current and new clients in advising them on where to locate a new business unit or re-locate existing ones. Most projects are for major national or regional clients across various industry sectors and we interface with the senior levels of management and real estate.
The ideal candidate will have;
· Strong analytical skills, be intuitive, creative, detail-oriented and highly organized
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a positive attitude
· Skills in sourcing demographic and corporate location research efficiently
· Capability to originate research from varied secondary sources (internal database, public and private databases, and economic development promotion websites) and conduct telephone research to generate first-hand information
· Ability to interpret data and create client recommendations, manage demographic research, draft research and consulting proposals
· Opportunity to present to and advise clients at C-suite and CRE levels from project start to completion
· Background of creating appealing graphical deliverables and presentations for clients and prospects
· Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the corporate location field
· Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
· Opportunity to lead and direct the work of others
· Strong presentation skills and a wide degree of creativity
· Bachelor's degree - preferably in a demographics, media, research, economics, economic development or urban planning program.
· 5-7 years of related experience.
