External Reporting Manager

Job Profile:Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s External Reporting Department in Corporate Accounting is seeking candidates to fill the position of Manager. This position will have a variety of responsibilities related to the GAAP financial reporting needs of the company, including involvement in the preparation and review of the external financial statements, preparing presentations and reports for the Board of Directors and senior management and involvement in special projects and analysis related to external reporting. In addition to strong technical and communication skills, we are seeking someone who can effectively manage projects and work independently to resolve issues. Responsibilities: Assist in the completion of the company’s annual report and quarterly financial statements, including identifying and resolving accounting and reporting issues and preparation of financial statements, management discussion and analysis and footnotes Prepare presentations and reports for Board of Directors and other meetings Provide support for the Treasury Department during debt offerings Assist with accounting and financial reporting-related issues involving the acquisition and integration of National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car Perform accounting research on issues that impact the company Assist with special projects and analysis related to external reporting Qualifications: 5+ years of accounting and external reporting experience, public accounting and Big 4 experience a plus Knowledge of GAAP accounting and the ability to research and formulate conclusions on new accounting and reporting issues Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven managerial and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage others Accounting degree with CPA preferred To Apply:If you are interested and qualified for this opportunity, please click on the link below to complete our on line application. https://www.enterprisejobs.com/default.asp?presets=req=7731-externalreportingmgr-05-02-08 We are an equal opportunity employer.
