HR Recruiter- Orlando, FL

Avis Budget Group is searching for a dedicated Human Resources Recruiter to help support North Florida operations for Avis Rent A Car and Budget Rent A Car (Pensacola, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando).  This position will report to the North Florida HR Manager and is based at the Orlando Airport location.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: managing full-cycle recruitment for non-exempt and exempt level positions including the sourcing, interviewing, and selecting of candidates to fill new and vacant positions; effectively utilize a diverse sourcing strategy to identify high-caliber candidates including the use of direct job boards, internet mining, attending career fairs, on-campus recruiting events, and other events related to attracting & building a diverse candidate pool; partner with HR Manager to calibrate interview assessments and offer strong hiring recommendations to enable filling of positions effectively and efficiently; and maintain an active applicant flow tracking of candidates throughout the recruitment process.  Other responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely processing of all employee transactions; coordinating and managing new hire process and providing additional HR support to selected client groups. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree. 2 years Human Resources experience in a recruiting capacity in a retail, hospitality or services industry required. 25% travel required The successful candidate must be willing to and/or possess the following:  Experience in recruiting and supporting a large nonexempt & exempt diverse employee population preferred. In depth knowledge of labor laws to include FMLA administration, EEO compliance, Worker’s Compensation. Detail oriented and must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, including oral presentation. Proven ability to effectively interface with all levels of management. High attention to detail while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with confidential matters and business decisions. Able to work under minimum supervision and exhibit strong time-management and organizational skills. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks. Strong computer skills with an emphasis on HRIS, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
