Job Summary - Marketing Associate Avis Budget Car Rental Inc. is searching for a Marketing Associate to join our Marketing department based in Parsippany, NJ. This position contributes to the company's success by assisting in developing and implementing marketing strategies and communications for the Avis and Budget car rental brands to increase car rentals for existing customers.  This position utilizes methods of communication to include direct mail, point of sale and limited electronic media. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - See disclaimer below for further information. The essential duties and responsibilities as well as knowledge, skills and abilities include but are not limited to the following: Assist Marketing Manager in day-to-day marketing initiatives Manage enrollment & fulfillment inventory materials for Avis & Budget consumer programs Analyze results for all CRM marketing programs and report findings to Management to draw conclusions and make recommendations Manage approval process for all Customer Relationship Management related projects and communications Develop and execute ongoing program and member communications Develop internal communications Work with Customer Service to resolve customer correspondence issues Participate in the development of annual marketing plans and budgets Implement opportunities to reduce program costs without compromising levels of service or satisfaction Work with outside agencies and vendors to manage creative development and execution Process invoices and manage overall budget tracking Develop archive of all Customer Relationship Management products on an ongoing basisRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams Requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Requires the ability to be highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications Requires excellent ability to multi-task and balance several important projects at one time Experience with trafficking creative projects, project management and program analytics.  Some knowledge and/or experience with budget management Ability to work with many levels of management both internally and externally Completed Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing or a related field Minimum of 1 year of related experience required within advertising and/or direct marketing Experience working with and managing outside agency and vendors.
