Marketing Associate, Chinese Services Group Location:  NY, NY   Responsibilities:   Deloitte Services LP ("Deloitte Services") is currently searching for a National Marketing Associate who will work with other marketing professionals in support of the Deloitte US firm's business objectives and marketing initiatives.  The main role of the Marketing Associate is to work in partnership with regional leadership to provide strategic marketing, targeting, and leadership expertise for specific industries, geographies, designated Service Lines and / or products and services. In addition, the candidate will:  - Strategize with marketing leaders and marketing team members to understand market drivers/issues - Oversee execution of specific marketing programs and projects.  Engage appropriate firm and external resources to execute integrated marketing programs.  Ensure programs are implemented in a cost effective manner and implemented to achieve desired business goals. - Provide direction and coordination in the design and execution of events geared toward client education and prospective client acquisition including, but not limited to conferences, seminars and trade shows. - Support public relations efforts as they integrate with marketing objectives. - Develop a thorough understanding of service offerings, and help develop a strategy for the most effective marketing initiatives for key service offerings.  Help to plan and deliver effective marketing programs which build eminence for these services, working with service offering champions and professionals, and ultimately drive business growth. - Become actively involved in driving the integrated marketing planning process for FY08. Work with colleagues and director to build appropriate foundation of business knowledge, incorporate strategic goals as a foundation for planning, and help develop an integrated marketing plan across the US.  Ensure that resulting programs are strategically relevant and measurable. - Working with other team members,develop a process for sharing knowledge on competitors and their offerings.  Use this knowledge to develop targeted marketing plans and communications. - Work closely with team members to share best practices and leverage marketing programs and initiatives; create a culture of learning and continuous improvement. - Focus on supporting specific strategic accounts and spending significant amounts of time on supporting pursuit opportunities We are seeking an individual with the ability to navigate effectively within a professional services or large matrixed organization. This individual will have 4+ years experience in marketing, communications, public relations or sales.
