Preferred Account Representative

National Construction Rentals, the leading provider in the portable services industry is seeking a professional and experienced Preferred Account Rep for our regional facility in Spring Valley, CA.

 

 Job Summary

 

Generate revenue by initiating the sales process, close sales, expand sales in existing accounts, and contribute information to market strategy.

 

Essential Functions

 

Convince/persuade/facilitate contractors and event promoters to commit to rental agreements with NCR for our temporary power/storage/fence/sanitation services.

 

Cross-sell and up-sell at any given or created opportunity. 

 

Close the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.

 

Make compelling presentations to a variety of audiences.

 

Inspire others with drive and motivation to sell aggressively.

 

Adjust the message to match the audience.

 

Consistently identify new sources of business.

 

Get the attention and involvement of the most sophisticated and difficult audiences.

 

Attain challenging sales goals and manage accounts within a designated region.

 

Develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment.

 

Demonstrate proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and be comfortable using databases or online resources (CMD).

 

Communicate status to clients, superiors, and peers.

 

Demonstrate persistence. Strive to improve skills and achieve goals despite setbacks, obstacles.

 

Document quotes, bids, customer meetings, and actual sales.

 

Call in sales orders for processing.

 

Ensure customer completes credit application.

 

Keep account information current.

 

Complete expense reports on a weekly basis.

 

Maintain an accurate record of work schedule and contacts.

 

Communicate with clients, superiors, and peers via email.

 

Make quality assurance phone calls and visits to maintain and grow account base.

 

Education and/or Experience 

 

Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four-year College or University preferred.

 

Three to five years related experience and/or training.

 

Lincenses/Certificates/Registrations

 

Valid driver’s license
