Supervisor - Machine Parts

Duties:  
Manage daily inbound and outbound shipments in an accurate and efficient manner.  Outbound shipments must meet strict delivery expectations and commitments with both internal and external customers.  Maintain all parts storage areas in a neat, clean and safe environment.  All parts storage areas should be clearly labeled with the bin location and part number.  Storage areas should also have adequate space to accommodate the parts that are to be stored. Coordinate daily work flow to ensure that there is adequate coverage in all respective areas while maintaining a high level of customer service.  Responsible for maintaining all work areas in a customer ready condition at all times. Track  and report employee productivity.  Investigate shipping discrepancies with customers and come to a timely resolution.  Meet employee training targets established by the department manager.  Responsible for timely employee reviews.  Manage company assets to meet the company's goals.  Manage employee voluntary turnover to meet company targets.  Demonstrate and promote Quinn Company core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Respect for People, quality and Customer Service.
   
Experience/Skills Required:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one year certificate from college or technical school and three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience to include supervisory and computer skills, and general mechanical service abilities.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization
