Part Time, Employee, Seasonal Job Category: Food Services/Hospitality   Job Description We’re looking for dynamic individuals who have the interpersonal skills to deliver friendly and informative service.We currently have part-time and summer opportunities for experienced Restaurant Servers/Runners/Host/Cooks/Dishwashers. If you thrive in a fast paced environment, want to work great hours (rarely work past 10pm) and get excellent compensation then this is the right place for you!Experience Required: At least two years serving experience in a high volume casual dining environment Impeccable customer service skills Ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems Poise and positive demeanor required to qualify for constant personal interaction with guests and co-workers Experience working with children desirable To greet and seat Bistro guests in a timely, friendly and professional manner Take and record Bistro reservations in our computer system Respond to customer inquiries via the host desk Provide appropriate customer service information to enhance the customer experience Work with Bistro supervisors to assign waiters'/bussers' tasks Assist Bistro staff in exceeding service goals Initiate warm and engaging interactions with children and adults Create memorable experiences for our customers in a high energy, fast-paced environment Developing a working knowledge of and preparing menu items per recipe guidelines Maintaining a safe and sanitary work area and kitchen Completing all daily set-up and breakdown duties Maintaining a positive attitude and a sense of urgencyExperience/Skills: 1-2 years cooking experience in a high-volume establishment High school diploma is required and culinary education is preferred Local safety and sanitation certification required Clear and concise written and verbal skills in the English language At least 1 year experience as a restaurant host or supervisor, hotel concierge, or related customer service position required Professional personal presentation is an absolute necessity Impeccable verbal and customer service skills Ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure Light math and computer skills In depth knowledge of register and reservation systems Must enjoy working with children and possess a warm and friendly demeanor Proven ability to successfully communicate with both children and adults Weekend work is required.
