Assistant Manager / Service Manager

Assistant/Service Manager needed for high-volume buffet restaurant in Linden, NJ.  Minimum one-year managerial experience or three years restaurant experience.  Must enjoy busy fast-paced work environment, be a fast learner on computer and administrative tasks, not afraid to get hands dirty, and be comfortable working with multicultural staff & guests.

Managers coordinate and execute the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, cost control, food quality, member retention, guest service and satisfaction, and sanitation.  Managers must be able to maintain a positive and productive work environment, be willing and able to assist on all work as needed, and should continually work on the professional development of all our staff members.  In addition, Managers are responsible for scheduling, receiving inventory, purchasing, cash control, and organizational paperwork.  The average work week is estimated at 55 hours, but may be significantly volatile.
