About the Opportunity: We are looking for an excited and passionate Chef Manager who enjoys coming to work. You will have the opportunity to get involved with and participate in exciting programs and concepts while working with clients who share our passion. Every employee is authorized to use his or her capabilities to the fullest to create great food and satisfy their customers. Qualifications: Minimum of A.A. Degree in Culinary Arts. Three (3) to five (5) years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control. Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable. ServSafe® certified is a plus.Excellent supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products Possess a passion for sustainability Culinary creativity and menu writing abilities Diversity: Bon Appétit is a diverse, growth-oriented organization.
