Customer Service Associate, AP

Position is responsible for providing customer service and performing related duties for the BSCC Financial Services Accounts Payable Department.Position scope includes, but is not limited to:* Processing all supplier correspondence issues and past due invoices.* Making logical decisions concerning the validity of correspondence and taking responsibility for all actions.* Working with suppliers and other internal departments regarding supplier issues.* Maintaining knowledge of all process procedures for each profit center.* Organizing, logging, and distributing all related customer service issues to the profit centers and accounting associates on a daily basis.* Analyzing the correspondence log weekly and providing proactive solutions to management.* Working in a team environment in order to be proactive in establishing a more efficient and accurate method for payment processes.* Dealing with conflict and suppliers in a calm and professional manner.High school diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Two years customer service experience required. Accounts Payable experience preferred. Must have excellent skills in the following areas: written and verbal communication, customer service, time management, decision making, follow up and initiative.
