Job Description

U. S. Foodservice, one of the nation’s largest foodservice distribution companies, is seeking a Equipment & Supply Specialist for its Roanoke Division.  This individual would be based out of the Richmond market area.  Individual will be accountable for usage, inventory level, and service level for all stocked Equipment and Supplies. Accountable for quotes to sales, outside bids, etc.  Accountable for all miscellaneous billing, returns/monthly reports as to sales for all drop shipments through E&S.

 

Some of the responsibilities include:Meet and exceed division sales and gross profit budget for Equipment & SuppliesAssist TMs with large food accounts and local chain accounts.  Develop & implement a plan to penetrate with E&S.Implement a training program for sales of E&S with the division sales to include sales meeting participation, work shops, seminars, etc.Work closely with division management to develop and implement E&S annual sales goals for all TMs.Maintain and demonstrate a working knowledge of division E&S policies and procedures, assist Division with the development of local promotions to include the NDG exclusive brand, and be responsible for introduction and success of all company authorized promotions.

Qualifications

 High school diploma or equivalent required with college degree preferredFive (5) to seven (7) years experience in sales/merchandising/marketingDemonstrated product knowledge of Equipment & SuppliesStrong computer skills with strong presentation and communication skills requiredPosition will be based out of the Richmond, VA market area and individual must live in this area to be considered.Some overnight travel is required
