FOODSERVICE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Foodservice distribution company has immediate opening for an experienced outside sales representative.  Position is responsible for increasing company’s market share in Northern California by promoting and selling foodservice products through direct customer contact within assigned territory.

 

Successful candidate will be a highly motivated, organized professional with experience in the food industry and at least one year experience in foodservice sales.  Proven success in account prospecting and market penetration, increasing the profitability of current account base through merchandising, resolving customer service issues and maintaining current collections is essential.  Professional appearance, excellent grammar, courteous communication, accurate data entry, effective time management and a positive attitude are also required.  It is helpful for applicants to have active relationships with local and regional restaurant operators.

 

Compensation is commission based plus monthly car allowance.  Benefits, including paid vacation, and sick leave, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, and 401(k) are available.  Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable vehicle are required.

 

Jacmar Foodservice Distribution distributes food and supplies to independent restaurants, restaurant chains, schools and health care facilities throughout California and Nevada.
