FRANCHISE OPERATIONS CONSULTANT/STORE SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Responsibility of the Franchise Operations Consultant/Store Support Representative is to provide direct operational, business consulting, and marketing support services to assigned stores; continually guide franchisees and their staffs to uphold Auntie Anne’s three-fold philosophy and operating standards; promote a healthy, honest relationship between franchisees and the Home Office.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1.     Foster/maintain healthy business relationships that effectively yield results – optimizing sales and ensuring positive brand experience (execution of Threefold Philosophy).

 

 

2.     Serve as Auntie Anne’s public relations representative in all professional dealings. Serve as a liaison/contact person between the Home Office, franchisees, vendors, etc. as needed.

 

 

3.     Visit assigned stores as often as Regional Director designates (typically every 6-8 weeks); provide operational support, review home office updates, measure store compliance, consult with franchisee on business to drive sales, etc.

 

 

4.     Protect brand via survey reviews. Identify and manage mobility plan stores until they are in full compliance. If franchisee is unable to meet standards, SSR works with Regional Director and Legal Department to manage default, sale, or termination.

 

 

5.     Remain current with all aspects of each franchisee’s business through regular review of:  sales reports, comment cards, mystery shops, etc., to provide effective consulting.

 

 

6.     Establish and manage organizational assessments/action plans for each franchise organization to optimize business.

 

 

7.     Regularly and effectively communicate with assigned franchisees through meetings, telephone calls, follow-up letters, etc.

 

 

8.     Keep current with all required administrative duties. Provide accurate information/reports to Regional Director, National Director of Store Support, and other Home Office personnel as they request it, on a timely basis.

 

 

9.     Participate in all company functions/events/meetings as required (Council Meetings, Conventions, Summits, Regional and National Store Support Meetings, etc.)

 

 

10.    Participate on committees, action teams, and/or special projects as assigned.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required, plus minimum two years of relevant experience; some management/leadership experience helpful; willingness to learn new skills; team player; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to be innovative and self-motivated; ability to think on your feet; ability to operate in a sometimes stressful environment.

Communication Skills (computer, office equipment, etc.):

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; basic typing, personal computer, and word processing required; other computer skills a plus; must be comfortable with significant amount of telephone contact; must be familiar with general operation of office equipment -- copier, fax, voice mail system, etc.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB

Must be able to walk, lift, bend, stoop, talk, hear, see and smell. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle and regularly travel long distances by car, plane, or other public transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, particularly when traveling, i.e., carrying luggage, computer lap tops, etc.
