Field Auditor

Apple Metro Restaurants is the Metro New York Franchisee for Applebee’s, Chevy’s and Zanaro’s Restaurants.   Due to continued growth in our business, Apple-Metro is looking for the right individual to join our accounting department as a Field Auditor. The Field Auditor will develop audit procedures and travel to the restaurants to review adherence to procedures related to cash control, employee files, sales comps, inventory counting and pricing, purchasing, tip reporting and other matters.  It is likely that responsibilities will involve several days weekly in the office to prepare for the visits and a couple of days weekly at the restaurants which are located in the five boroughs of NYC, and in Westchester and Rockland counties. Previous auditing experience is required and a knowledge of the restaurant industry is desired but not essential.
