Field Consultant

Interstate Dairy Queen Corporation is seeking an energetic person with restaurant management background to act as a business consultant for operators of franchised restaurants. HELP Franchisees maximize sales, profits and long term value of their franchise. Complete and thorough training program provided designed to develop your operational, marketing, financial, and presentation skills needed to run a successful business


The successful candidate will presently live in Central Pennsylvania area and service 20 to 30 restaurants in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, Kansas, Missouri and Connecticut. Starting Salary $35,000-$40,000 depending upon experience. Automobile, personal computer, 401K, cell phone, etc are part of the package.

Essential Functions Include:
Communicate company policy, procedures and programs to restaurant personnel through written and verbal communications
Evaluate restaurant facility, equipment and operations for compliance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Analyze financial information and provide recommendations for profit improvement

Qualifications:
BA in business or related field is preferred
A minimum of one year restaurant or related experience preferred
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to travel and stay away from home for several days per month
Ability to work in restaurant environment, including standing, lifting/moving objects, some mechanical work with equipment
