Financial Analyst

A high growth privately held Wichita based Restaurant Company seeks a highly motivated financial analyst to support Chief Financial Officer.  We are looking for a self-starter that can bring strong analytical and planning experience and a can-do attitude.  The successful candidate must be self-directed, motivated, detail-oriented, organized, a team player, and must be willing to go the extra mile.  Must be capable of multi-tasking and skilled in verbal and written communication. Restaurant or hospitality industry experience is a plus.  Bachelor's degree in finance is preferred or bachelors in accounting with a minimum of 12 credit hours in finance.  Excel and Access experience is required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

* Budgeting and forecasting.

* Working capital reporting, analysis and management.

* Debt and regulatory compliance, as well as covenant testing.

* Work with CFO on development and maintenance of equity and debt facilities.

* Ad hoc analysis/projects as needed.

* Maintain credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends.

* Preparation and analysis of standard package materials for Company and Board of Directors.

* Support private equity sponsors on information requests, lender support and audits, and financial analysis of Company performance.

* Coordination of financial deliverables from outsourced back-office financial service provider

 

Qualifications:

 

* Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.



* Ability to articulate complex financial and managerial concepts orally and in writing to diverse non-financial managers



* Must be skilled at analyzing/interpreting financial performance.



* 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance.



* Advanced Excel Skills. PeopleSoft experience a plus.



* BS / BA in Accounting / Finance. 

* CPA, CFA or MBA is a plus.
