Global Procurement Analyst

Responsible for leading the procurement process for numerous spend categories, and corporate supply needs which entails developing, issuing and evaluating RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, contract negotiations, spend analytics, e-sourcing and supplier management. Must have the ability to negotiate contracts and other product acquisition agreements. This position requires understanding of the procurement process, strong leadership ability and the communication skills to influence various business units leads at all levels of management. This position will also support a number of strategic initiatives as developed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Develop and implement strategic sourcing goals and objectives. - Facilitate decisions regarding strategic sourcing direction.- Deliver cost savings targets for each category and report ongoing savings results.- Analyze processes and determine opportunities for improvement.- Provide sourcing consulting services to various internal business units.- Monitor and analyze day-to-day sourcing operations. - Conduct analytics on spend data.- Lead supplier selection.- Review Supplier risks and formulate suggested mitigation strategies.- Measure global budget/cost impacts of decisions and actions.- Develop and participate in cross-functional teams to understand company needs. - Drive continuous improvement in the procurement process. - Manage and supervise a team of strategic sourcing analysts. - Lead and manage contract negotiations.- Manage cross functional collaboration.- Support the creation of business cases by project managers.- Prepare Supplier performance reports per McDonald's Supplier Management (SM) approach- Research, develop and implement procurement best practices. . - Experience with the entire lifecycle of the sourcing process- Working knowledge of e-procurement- Strong ability to influence2 - 3 Years in Procurement OrganizationProficient with Microsoft OfficeExperience with Lotus Notes.CPM or equivalent preferred
