HR Generalist

Objective:

 Responsible for meeting HR needs of the corporate region, Including but not limited t o Recruiting, hiring, reporting and payroll according to Sigma policies, procedures and federal and state laws.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for recruiting full life cycle of Corporate Region:  posting, advertising, phone screens, interviews,  administration of pre-employment  tests, (where applicable), coordinate interviews with hiring managers, ensure paperwork is complete and elaborate job offers in  coordination with managers

·  Validation  and control of weekly and  bi-weekly  pre-payroll.

·  Handles employee  relations counseling, outplacement  and  Exit interview

·  Implementation of personnel polices and procedures according to employee handbook

·  Perform HR audits

·  Coordinate efforts for Performance Evaluations

·  Coaching Management on disciplinary actions

·  Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

·  Participate and develop HR projects

·  Develop Policies and Procedures

·  Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database

·  Responsible for hiring process: gather paperwork, coordinate start date, check references and coordinate background check

·  Conduct new employee orientation (including information regarding company benefits, pay periods, company polices and procedures and related subjects when appropriate)

·  Build and maintain relationships with staffing agencies

·  Elaborate and send reports to headquarters management

·  Support in attentions for internal and external Clients in events and mobility in the Company Car. (Mainly Airports)

·  Contributes  to team up effort by accomplishing related results as neededEnsure compliance with  Sigma policies and procedures

 

 

Requirements:

 4 years of experience in the HR field  Bachelor's degreeBilingual Spanish/EnglishAvailability to travel- 25%Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of spreadsheet, word processing, training tools and database software.Must possess good  knowledge of State and Federal labor lawPHR preferably

Additional skills:Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneouslyAbility to work in a fast paced environment.High energy levelMust be highly organized while being readily adaptable to rapid change in prioritiesMust be a creative problem solver who can deal with problems and issues and develop solutions in a timely mannerExcellent knowledge of business processes, redesign principles and techniquesExcellent customer service skills
