We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for our operation at the Bush Intercontinental Airport.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: TO ACCURATELY AND EFFECTIVELY RECEIVE, SHIP, PICK AND PACK ALL ITEMS. TO STORE AND ISSUE FOOD AND NON-FOOD ITEMS AND MAINTAIN RECORDS. TO UNLOAD AND LOAD ALL ITEMS.
Areas of responsibility and task:
ü Check delivered product for quality and quantity to verify receipt of items on invoice.
ü Confirm that all frozen or refrigerated goods are within HACCP standards.
ü Determine method of storage, identification, and stock location considering temperature, humidity, height, and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space and other proper storage procedures
ü Conduct Inventory
ü Compile reports
ü Make timely deliveries to operating units on schedule
ü Shipping and Receiving
ü Unload and Load trucks
ü Pick and Pack all orders
Standards and Procedures:
ü Know, understand and comply with all relevant operational standards and procedures that are current.
ü Keep up to date with new standards
ü Contribute actively to a good team spirit/teamwork
ü Adhere to health and safety regulations- be observant of potential hazards and dangers to yourself, colleagues and customers
ü Follow all HACCP standards for food storage and delivery
