IS Business Systems Analyst

 Your to do list:

· Optimize and streamline business processes through business process modeling and engineering.

· Help solve business problems (operational, functional, technical, and financial) with root cause analysis, systems development, workflow, and process automation.

· Elicit, gather, analyze, define, communicate and validate detailed business requirements with clients for enhancements to business systems, processes, and policies.

· Work with clients to develop business cases and scope of work outlines.

· Develop, document, and manage comprehensive system requirements and deliverables.

· Coordinate development efforts with partners in line with business unit timelines and goals.

· Perform QA, user acceptance, and change management procedures.

· Project manage system and process enhancement deployments.

· Detailed documentation of existing and planned system integration – UML models, flowcharts, business process models, and workflow diagrams.

· Assist in instituting service request and prioritization procedures.

· Build and recommend systems development and integration according to multi-year strategic vision.

· Provide ongoing status reports.

 

Your skills and experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field of study.

· At least 2 years experience in a business systems analyst role, preferably restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.

· At least 4 years in the Information Systems field.

· Most possess exceptional organizational, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

· Strong process discipline with high attention to detail.

· In-depth understanding of developmental methodologies and the SDLC  in theory and in practice.

· Strong business acumen and knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.

· Practical project management, report writing and development experience preferred.
