Position Title: Manager, Consumer Insights and AnalysisWorking Location: Columbus, OH (Corporate)Employment Status: Full-Time RegularRequired Experience: 5-7 YearsRequired Education: Bachelors DegreeTravel Required: 0%Job DescriptionTo manage the initiation, design, and implementation of best practice primary consumer research which is conducted to identify consumer needs and growth opportunities for the Company. To act as a key marketing partner and business consultant in the leveraging of consumer insights that focus on supporting and influencing key business decisions. Key Responsibilities Include: * On a daily basis, manages the initiation, design & analysis of primary consumer research programs that support critical business decisions & identify potential opportunities for the Wendy's brand. Leveraging of best practice marketing research technical skills is essential. * On a weekly basis, manages, coordinates and executes all assigned Marketing Research projects according to formal project plans which incorporate current project objectives, activities, responsibilities, timing and budget information. Supervises work of external research suppliers to ensure high quality performance. Strong project management principles must be consistently applied. * Continually leverages Marketing Research databases to provide an integrated view of consumer behavior and the business opportunities resulting from a superior understanding of that behavior. * On a monthly basis, manages the screening and selection process of third party research suppliers including the evaluation of technical expertise, quality standards, knowledge and reliability. Proactively identifies suppliers that can decrease project cost and/or time while maintaining or enhancing quality. Identifies new marketing research methods to ensure department is maintaining best practices as rapid innovations in technology continually change methods and techniques that can be leveraged. * Supports the marketing research information needs of other Marketing staff members and corporate personnel, as requested; communicates consumer insights in support of key business meetings or special projects as assigned.Essential SkillsB.S. or B.A. in business, marketing research, statistics, or the social sciences M.S. or M.A. in business, marketing research, statistics, or the social sciences Technical expertise in qualitative & quantitative marketing research techniques Strong project management & communication skills Ability to manage multiple external marketing research suppliers 5+ years of corporate marketing research experience in retail, restaurant, &/or CPG Key Competencies Include: * Customer Orientation * Influence * Organizing / Planning * Problem Solving / Decision Making * Relationship Building Click here to apply: Learn more about us at: wendys.jobs Wendy's = opportunity & diversity Privacy statement
