Position Description:



GENERAL PURPOSEThis position is responsible for managing and directing the recruitment function in Home Service so as to ensure staff selections and placements that favorably impact the strategic plan of the organization.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssists in developing and implementing effective strategies and high quality processes to attract and retain qualified candidatesEvaluates recruitment programs, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvementEnsures key customers are satisfied with the level of recruitment services being provided by direct reportsDevelops service level agreements with hiring managersCoaches and develops staff to proactively partner with their key customers and sets recruiter goals and objectivesRecruits appropriate management and key positions personally – sourcing, screening and placement of candidatesEnsures issues such as diversification are considered and promoted within the recruitment process.Actively participates and assists with the development and realization of HR strategic plans, goals, and outcomes.Assists in development of fiscal year hiring projections and corresponding recruitment operating budgetEnsures budget is managed within established guidelines.Maintains and analyzes statistical reports addressing issues such as days to fill and employee retention rates, cost per hire, etc.



QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelors degree or equivalent preferredYears of Related Experience: 7 – 9 years of related experienceKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Intermediate proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows operating environment to include the Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and the Internet; demonstrated knowledge of all applicable Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulations; demonstrated proficiency of internet recruitment and/or computer related recruitment tools; basic teaching skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated ability to effectively identify issues and recommend solutions, demonstrated management and supervisory skills. Ability to travel is required.
