Multi unit/ District Manager
SUMMARY:
Plan, direct and manage the multi store business operations of Ben and Jerry’s outlets incorporating the company's mission statement into business operating strategies, while maintaining a profitable, fun and friendly atmosphere which promotes a world class customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Direct, manage and create the "ultimate" hospitality experience by effectively utilizing the retail and scoop functions.
Manage and direct Ben and Jerry’s retail locations profitability by developing and implementing business strategies, analyzing and evaluating financial budgets and preparing operating reports.
Develop, recommend and implement short and long term business goals, objectives and strategies for each of the retail locations.
Ensure all locations maintain clean, attractive and fun operational facilities which are free of all safety hazards.
Develop and manage the catering program to corporate clientele, fairs, festivals, concerts, and other events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
B.S. degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years experience with a high volume tourist attraction or food and gift commodity management required.
Experience with business accounting and financial management systems required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent coaching and training management skills.
Computer proficiency, esp. Excel, Word, Windows XP
Travel required approximately 10% of the time.
