National Account Food Sales Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Sales / Customer Service· Responsible for finding and securing potential frozen dough and produce customers. · Visit customers to establish and maintain relationships and resolve issues. · Responsible for customer sales and service from order through collection.· Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. · Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.· Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. · Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. · Prepare presentations and proposals. · Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. · Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. · Manage account through quality checks and other follow-up. · Identify and resolve client concerns. · Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. · Communicate new products and opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company team members. · Coordinate with company team members to accomplish the work required to close sales. · Other duties as assigned. Financial Responsibility· Develop and be held accountable for the P&L.· Responsible for development and adherence to budget. · Responsible for and accountable to ensure EBITDA targets are met. Operational Responsibility.· Work closely with Supply Chain dough production and Vegetable production to ensure operational excellence.· Measure current operations against financial projection models and analysis. QUALIFICATIONS· 5-7 years Sales / Operations experience.· Thorough knowledge of competitor operations, and industry practices.· Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills.· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.· Proven ability to build and maintain effective relations with customers.· Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales, Finance, or related work experience· Ability to travel extensively; Work requires significant national travel and will require overnight travel. Occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required.· Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. · Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state drivers license within 60 days of employment.· Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel· Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
