PM Aura Restaurant Server

Scope of Position

The Restaurant Server provides table service for restaurant guests during breakfast, lunch and dinner and provides support in the Lounge and In-room Dining as necessary. The server is knowledgeable of food and beverage offerings and provides service that is informed, attentive, timely and professional.  This position will report to the Restaurant Managers.

 Schedule requirements

Schedule will vary during the PM shift; working weekends, nights and holidays will be necessary.

 

 Key Responsibilities· Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.  · Provide table service- ordering, serving and clearing. 

· Provide beverage and wine service, replenish as necessary.

· Check for overall satisfaction; make recommendation to guests. 

· Extensive knowledge of food and beverage, answering all guest questions. 

· Assist staff in restaurant in overall delivery of food and beverage. 

· Responsible for self cashiering and balancing income.

· Responsible for practicing and promoting our Mission and Values so that it becomes an intricate part of the everyday operation. 

· Complete any duties or projects assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

· Maintain close working relationship with kitchen and bus persons in delivery of service. 

 Required Job Knowledge and Skills

· Previous experience in an A La Carte fine dining restaurant.

· Extensive Food and Beverage knowledge essential.

· Computer skills.

· Cash handling skills.

· Knowledge of fine dining service.

· Ability to recognize regular guests.

· Communication Skills.

· Ability to carry trays weighing over 30 lbs.

 

Qualifications

· High school diploma required or preferred.

· Tips and CPR/Heimlich certified preferred but will provide training.
