Position:CBTL seeks a Real Estate Manager to join the Real Estate and Construction Team Assists in growth of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf through acquiring, developing and leasing property for new CBTL stores.Responsibilities: Develop long range plans for new store development. Identify and research trend areas. Conduct and research site locations Market analysis & lease negotiations and entitlement procurement Provide risk management analysis regarding store opening or lease renewals. Contribute to a development team who is on an aggressive roll out of an extremely popular restaurant chain. Advise and present to all levels of management. Develop and maintain relationships with a number of parties (e.g. brokers, landlords, shopping center management companies, government officials, consultants, etc.). Develop knowledge of real estate market dynamics, major key individuals, market trends, opportunities, etc. Position requires minimum 50% travel within region.Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years professional real estate experience, preferably with a corporate retailer and/or broker focused on retail clients. Proven negotiation skills. College degree: BA, BS in related field preferred Must be highly proficient in MS Project as well as in the MS Suite. Should have great attention to detail, must be able to collaborate with the team and have great communications skills.
