Regional Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Marketing USA, this person will be accountable for coordinating and executing Regional Marketing promotions, special events and programs for the Central U.S. market of Tim Hortons.  Also, this person will act as on-the-ground support for events and new store openings in this area.  This position is an entry level position for a motivated recent graduate who is interested in a career in corporate marketing.

Qualifications:College degree, preferably in marketing or related field. 1-3 years experience in related professional, volunteer or internship capacityExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsGood understanding of marketing fundamentals and media applications Excellent computer skillsAbility to travel up to 25% of the time – based out of Dublin, OH


Key Responsibilities:Provides support to Regional Marketing Managers and acts as a liaison for store owners, suppliers, inter-departmental and regional offices. Coordinates Regional Marketing programs, in-store promotions and special events for the area store groups.  May require working non-traditional hours and weekends. Coordinates the production and distribution of promotional items for Regional Marketing across the Western territory of the US. Manages and coordinates the system wide distribution of promotional materials for inter-regional programs. Coordinates the execution of Regional sponsorshipsCoordinates and implements Camp Day activities for store groups in conjunction with Regional Marketing Managers. Initiates and executes public relations activities for sponsorships, events and new store openings. Responsible for execution of local store marketing programs including local media planning and buying. Conducts post-event and post-program analysis i.e. administration, analysis of sales and expenditures and post-event summaries.
