Marketing Manager AppleGrove Restaurants, one of the leading franchisees of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, is looking for an experienced, energetic marketing professional to join our team as Regional Marketing Manager.  This manager will work closely with our Director of Marketing and Operations teams to identify, develop and implement marketing strategies that will drive sales and help us achieve our business objectives.  They will directly oversee local Marketing initiatives for restaurants in the Northwest, as well as contribute to company-wide initiatives as part of the Marketing Team for more than 100 restaurants in eight states.    The right candidate will be capable of working independently on a daily basis while contributing to overall team goals. The position has the flexibility to work out of our regional office in Portland, or from their home office near one of our key markets in Oregon or Washington. Spending 50% of their time spent in the field with operators and business partners, day and overnight travel will depend on their home base location.  Frequent travel in the Portland area, as well as occasional visits to markets throughout Oregon, Washington and Central California, will be key to their success.  Responsibilities: Lead local store marketing efforts for 35-40 restaurants, plus 3-5 new units each year Work closely with Marketing Director and media agency to build annual marketing plan, define local objectives and develop local advertising strategy (including radio, print, outdoor and other marketing mediums) Partner with restaurant management teams to analyze local market conditions, identify and evaluate opportunities, and implement sales building programs Communicate national and local marketing initiatives to operations team Develop cross-functional partnerships with other departments to ensure programs support company-wide goals and are properly executed Manage relationships with key vendor partners to develop cross-promotions (including beverage partners, radio stations, etc.) Track and analyze marketing program results utilizing key data indicators Assist operations teams with community relations, sponsorships and charitable causes Manage in-store marketing materials, contests and menus, including creative development as needed on a local basis  Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 2-5 years previous marketing experience a must Solid analytical and communication skills Excellent project management and organizational skills Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) Ability to travel (amount depending on home base) Restaurant operations experience a plus  Benefits: Competitive base salary + bonus plan Health, dental and vision benefits with shared employer contribution Employer-paid LTD, STD/wage continuation and basic life insurance 401-k with company match potential Company Profile:AppleGrove Restaurants, a privately held company, is one of the oldest and largest franchisees in the Applebee’s casual dining chain with 104 restaurants across the country and an exciting growth schedule.  To Apply: Email or fax your resume and salary requirements toAppleGrove RestaurantsFax: 404.921.1761  E-mail: careersCORP@applegrove.com  Applebee's is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.  Privacy Policy Position Information Company: Applebee's - AppleGrove Restaurants Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Marketing/Product Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Education: Bachelor's Degree Contact Information Email: Apply by Email Fax: 404-921-1761 Applebee's, with more than 1,900 restaurants across the U.S. and in 16 other countries, is the largest casual-dining restaurant concept in the world.
