Provides payroll, benefits and training support for the NA Regional Office and oversees the Administration aspects of the NA TMS programs. Active liaison between stores and Regional Team Member Services Team (HR). Supports the stores, regional and the TMS (HR) team in maintaining regional standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining payroll files, regional orientation, logistics of regional training, and thoroughly understanding national benefits programs, workers' compensation, unemployment, and resource to NA PBS group. The Regional PBS will perform payroll and benefits duties 32 hours a week and regional ISE duties 8 hours a week. 1. Completes all time and attendance, payroll, payroll reports and benefits administrative functions including: garnishments, loan verifications and references in a timely way for all NA Regional TMs, subsidized TMs from the facilities/stores and Career Development payroll supplements. 2. Assure that exception payroll is administered in a timely and accurate manner through reporting of Paid Time Off, period payroll recaps for North Atlantic Region, Special negotiated settlement agreements, executive payroll exception and bonus pay. 3. Administers all benefit programs including credit unions, 401k and stock purchase. 4. Ensures legal compliance regarding all paperwork. 5. Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws regarding payroll administration and child labor restrictions. 6. Understand labor issues including FMLA, ADA and LOA. 7. Oversee the administrative aspects of all TMS programs including but not limited to: Wage Works, PaymentNet, Service awards programs and other Admin duties as assigned by Regional TMS team. 8. Oversee the Learning Center. 9. Track and Coordinate regional level training and maintain the training calendar. 10. Introduce and maintain "I wonder" and "passport" at the regional level. 11. Schedule, organize, and conduct regional new hire orientation. 12. Ensure that all regional and national initiatives as they relate to training or the TMS communications are addressed in a timely manner. 13. Act as the conduit to all payroll, benefit and TMS communications that are sent from Central. 14. Participate in hiring and acquisition projects by providing support for job fairs, hiring and payroll conversions. 15. Work as a regional resource of information as it relates to the NA PBS team and TMS technology. 16. Responsible for all Regional TM personnel and payroll files as well as all STL files in the NA region. Skills Desired: - High comfort level with payroll reporting and analysis in order to work with Central and Operations to establish better regional recaps from store payroll reports for Vice Presidents as it relates to overtime by location, TL compensation, increases over norm, exceeding maximum rates and excessive store level bonuses. - Must have excellent follow-through skills, strong attention to detail and a persistent personality. - Ability to follow instructions and established procedures. - Superior communication skills, both written and oral. - Must be highly organized and able to work independently while remaining available to all TMs. - Must be able to use computer, including the Internet and Word and Excel software. - Superior spelling skills and ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). - Must take a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving and streamlining processes. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other TMs and leadership. - Payroll, Accounting and/or Administrative experience very helpful. - Must be able to keep silent on confidential information and handle such information in a discreet and professional manner.
