Restaurant Assistant Mgr/Shift Supervisor

Job Purpose:

Completes shift operations by planning and completing operational requirements; supervising staff.

Duties:

* Accomplishes shift work requirements by orienting, assigning, and coaching employees.

* Meets shift work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems.

* Plans shift operations by receiving operational report from previous shift; allocating resources.

* Completes shift operations by monitoring operations; reallocating resources; solving operational problems.

* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

* Maintains food-safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
