Restaurant Cashier

The Cashier provides consistent Quality, Friendly, Positive Customer Service and receives cash from customers or employees in payment for purchases by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as Cashier include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Greets promptly with a warm friendly smile and eye contact

* Assists customers with any questions they have by being knowledgeable of menu.

* Uses POS system to accurately and promptly take customer orders.

* Repeats food orders before taking payment

* Handles cash, ATM, and credit card transactions.

* Thanks each customer sincerely with a smile.

* Properly calls out customer’s number and verifies orders with a “Thank you” and a smile

Requirements
Education/Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
