Northstar is an independently owned restaurant company operating two award winning cafés. The clean architectural lines and fresh colors of Northstar reflect our sincere commitment to pure and natural dining, rooted in our Ohio soil. We feature an imaginative menu of New American cuisine with a healthful emphasis on organic ingredients. Our fast-paced display kitchen and in-house bakery open to a perpetually full dining room that regularly serves more than 900 guests a day with just over 100 indoor and outdoor seats.

We are a growing company and we have kitchen and dining room oriented management positions available. We provide our new managers with four months of formal training, including entire days spent visiting some of our local, organic growers. Once your training program is completed, we provide ongoing performance-based training and regular professional development retreats. We work hard to create an environment where thoughtful, focused people can learn and grow. Exceptional participants of our training program can earn the role of General Manager in just a few years.
