Senior Business Process Consultant

HELP US IMPROVE OUR BUSINESS!We are seeking a business process expert to join our corporate strategy team and lead business design efforts on strategic initiatives. These high profile, high impact initiatives are designated to drive growth and operational excellence across the enterprise.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Serve as a corporate expert for business process improvement and re-design* Plan and lead business process design activities including working with executives to define required outcomes, scope initiatives and design innovative business solutions that include people, process and technology components* Coordinate design activities across the Performance Management, Information Technology and Change Management teams* Understand and apply SYSCO’s business transformation method* Build commitment for change at all levels in the organizationJOB SPECIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred * Minimum of 6 years of experience in leadership roles leading large scale business improvement/transformation initiatives that include design, and optimization of business processes* Experience applying methodologies for managing large-scale change initiatives that ensure disciplined execution and enable high quality results* Strong influencing and consensus building skills * Willing to challenge traditional thinking and not constrained by the "current state" * Results oriented and customer focusedADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS* Ability to relate to and work with all levels and functions of an organization * Structured thinking and rigorous problem solving skills* Experience working in a team environment* Competence in building strong customer and partner relationships* Skilled at using written and verbal communication to simplify complex concepts* Strong project planning and management skillsWORKING KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE OF THE FOLLOWING IS A PLUS* Business Metrics modeling and development * Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, Process Reengineering, etc.)* Business process modeling tools (e.g. *ARIS Business Architect, *ARIS Toolset, Corporate Modeler, System Architect, ProVision, etc.)* Enterprise business process model development* Product sourcing, generating customer demand, supply chain management and warehouse and transportation operations*Foodservice distribution industrySYSCO offers excellent benefits including PPO Insurance, 401k Plan, Stock Purchase Plan, Product Purchase Discounts, and much more!
