Senior Systems Administrator

The Senior Systems Administrator will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Active Directory over WAN topology.  Ideal candidate will have experience in the security related areas of systems administration. 

 

The National DCP, LLC is the exclusive purchasing, distribution, and supply chain provider for Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. servicing over 6,000 Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins outlets worldwide. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

· Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory over WAN topology, taking redundancy, performance, scalability, and cost into consideration.

· Monitor server capacity to ensure maximum availability.

· Plan software updates and application roll-outs as necessary.

· Design and recommend changes to local, regional and global infrastructures.

· Provide performance monitoring, maintenance, upgrades and support for Windows infrastructure.

· Define backup criteria for system environment.

· Apply updates, patches, and configuration changes to operating systems.

· Install and configure new hardware and software.

· Define requirements and administer network security.

· Document system configurations.

· Provide development plans for Jr. IT employees.

· Provide support for 2nd & 3rd shift as needed.

· Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Education and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.MCSA / MSCE certification preferred. 5+ years experience with the design, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructures.HP SAN storage / HP blade technologies desirable.Knowledge of Citrix, Mac, Linux and Unix desirable.
