Here's another great opportunity to join the Burger King team: The Manager, Human Resources reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and has responsibility for the HR generalist function to corporate support functions based at the Restaurant Support Center in Miami, FL as well as field employees in the Operations Excellence and Training Depts. This position will work closely with client groups to maximize performance of individuals and teams to achieve Burger Kings key business priorities and function objectives. In addition, this position will work closely with other human resource generalists and specialists (including compensation, benefits, staffing, and compliance).Specific responsibilities include: Advice and counsel to functional leadership on people strategy, structure, and staffing to meet functional objectives Identify hiring needs & write position profiles Make hiring, promotion, and pay adjustment decisions with clients; partner with HR specialists (recruiting, compensation) to ensure alignment with HR policies and practices Manage resolution of complex employee relations issues and provide counseling & investigations in accordance with legal requirements Coach leaders on people management skills; help evaluate and identify ways to maximize performance of individuals and work groups; implement development and succession plans Advise on, document, and administer employee terminations (via severance, for performance, and for cause); work with leaders to document performance issues and performance improvement plans when warranted Keep an active pulse on employee issues and recommend creative solutions Support implementation of HR policies, processes, programs, and systems, (such as new talent management system, global job evaluation project, etc) Serve as main HR contact for questions/troubleshooting related to range of employee issuesThis position will supervise an HR Specialist and an Administrative AssistantBenefitsAt Burger King Corporation, providing a supportive environment goes way beyond the workday.
