Take Along Driver-Franksville, WI

Assisting our  Sales & Service Representatives, the Take Along Driver has the unique opportunity to present the Gordon Food Service image and service to our customers through their courteous, on-time, accurate deliveries. This is a training position for our delivery driver positions.  When a route becomes available for a delivery driver, it is expected that the take along driver will fill that role.

 

Some of the essential functions of this position include: Cultivate quality customer relationships, acting as liaison between GFS Management and Customers, reporting any concerns or issues Ensures safe, accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries of GFS products to our customers Accurately collect customer account monies at the time of delivery Perform proper equipment maintenance as needed Collaborate with management and sales representatives to communicate customer concerns and resolutions Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles Complete daily paperwork and computer data entry
