We are looking for a Kitchen Manager who is as sharp as his/her knives

If you're energetic and ambitious, with a solid understanding of what the restaurant business demands and a desire to learn and to grow, we might be the fit you've been looking for.

Our Kitchen Managers manage a high volume kitchen operation in which they are ultimately responsible for ensuring great food quality and recipe adherence. In addition, the Kitchen Manager is responsible for all kitchen functions including supervision of staff, housekeeping, kitchen set-up, sanitation, and safety. The following are also areas of management responsibility and oversight.

Recruitment and Selection of all kitchen staff

Scheduling and Staffing

Labor Projection

Training-ensures compliant training of all kitchen staff including trainers, crew leaders and Assistant Kitchen Managers

Management of Kitchen Team Members

Performance Appraisals

Recommendations for employee actions, including promotions, coaching opportunities or terminations

Cost Control for food cost, kitchen labor, chemicals, laundry, water, etc.


Inventory

Maintenance and Sanitation Responsibilities and Oversight


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Individuals who have enjoyed success and career advancement as Kitchen Managers with us have backgrounds that include; management experience in a high volume/production kitchen, Military E-3, E-4; Mess Management or similar experience, with the following minimum expertise.

2 years of BOH management experience and/or a culinary degree from community college or accredited culinary school.

Must be able to successfully coordinate the staff and resource in high volume, time sensitive environments.

Must display a genuine desire to lead the team in producing a high quality product.

Exposure to, and experience in, budgeting and BOH operations a must.
