Supporting it’s success. Our specialty store is a totally unique “retail-tainment” location for chocolate lovers (and your career!). We currently have a Assistant Store Director opportunity available at our flagship store located in Times Square.   As “second in command” you will actively support the Store Director in ensuring smooth store operations and achieving designated sales goals.  We offer a set schedule:  8:00-4:30pm Monday - Friday. Duties include: Maintain staffing levels in the store appropriate to business needs Recruit, manags, and develop staff Communicats expectations in accordance with the culture of the company and in support of the various associate positions/job responsibilities Liaison with Human Resources on associate issues, communication of corporate guidelines, training programs and job postings. Insure consistency in all applications Insurs training needs of the store are communicated and implemented Assist the Store Director in disseminating associate communication and materials Establish consistent measurement standards for reviews; insuring timeliness in the delivery of reviews for all associates Establish operational policies and procedures, as needed Coordinats the Q-12 process and executing the action plan defined from survey results Demonstratw and imparting the 5 Principles of Mars Inc. Develop professional skills and capabilities through on-going training, as provided by the company Provide employment decisions for all retail sales positions Determine effective methods of recruiting staff at all levels within the store environment Making immediate decisions regarding associate issues, store policy and procedure issues and guest service recovery.
