Academic Manager - Santa Monica

Description:Academic Manager Join Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions as the Academic Manger for the Santa Monica Center! The energetic and results-oriented individual selected for this position will oversee all phases of academic, teacher management and staff training within the Santa Monica Center with an eye toward continually improving the student experience. Responsibilities: Manage teacher recruiting, auditioning, training, scheduling, and observing. Create programs and initiatives that improve course quality and enhance the overall student experience. Oversee the academic budget for the center. Hire, train and supervise Academic Coordinators and Teacher-Trainers. Schedule, develop, and coordinate teacher-training summits in conjunction with the regional Academic Director. Manage the creation and delivery of course schedules. Manage the assimilation of new course materials into curriculum, as well as the dissemination of information about course updates. Create and implement staff training sessions in conjunction with other mangers.
