Accounts Receivable Accountant Primary Responsibilities Maintain AR aging at acceptable levels in line with company objectives Take the lead in the collection of all past due accounts including contacting clients to ensure prompt payment of all invoices. Responsible for the perform credit analysis and the creation of invoices, credit memo’s and customer statements Verification and application of collections Maintain strong, effective working relationships with sales and sales ops group for the timely resolution of billing issues. Research and reconcile open A/R ledger transactions. Responsible for EDI transmittal of invoices Assist in month end close, including reconciling the AR sub ledger to GL and the calculation of the reserves for bad debts Assist in projects and audits as needed. Job Qualifications 2-4 years experience in collections and knowledge of commercial applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Personable, positive attitude - ability to interact with management and customers Detail oriented with good follow-up skills Time-management and multitasking abilities.
