Advertising Manager

Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry has an immediate need for an Advertising Manager at its Corporate office located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Ideal candidate should possess:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field4-6 years marketing, advertising and account management experienceStrong understanding of traditional marketing, advertising and direct marketingThorough understanding of role of media in overall marketing mixStrong communication and writing skillsSolid understanding of Internet marketing and its role in marketing mixStrong working knowledge of MS Office programs including ExcelPrevious experience in a luxury retail environment is a plusWillingness to travel

 In this position, the candidate will:Develop annual marketing/advertising budgets to increase market shareManage staff to achieve marketing goals for the companyDevelop and/or maintain solid relationships with key members of the media, industry and brand partnersActively identify and pursue marketing/advertising opportunities that support growth of companyOrganize and manage all promotional eventsUnderstand and analyze customer bases, including target customers and target contactsResponsible for overseeing ad creations with both in-house and outside creative teamsCoordinate with the executive team to establish marketing strategiesCoordinate all promotional mailers
