INTRODUCING THIS OPPORTUNITY

Primary Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this position include the following:

Work with Bakery Manager to improve operations Supervise, assist with evaluations, schedule and train associates Compile daily production list Assist with ordering, quality of inventory and product and merchandising for local and seasonal demands Maintain Publix's high standards for weights, ingredients and product freshness Reinforce all company policies and all local, state and federal guidelines Reinforce sanitation, security and safety guidelines Assist customers and complete other duties as may arise 

Required Qualifications: The required qualifications of this position include the following:

Be at least 18 years old Six months experience in bakery management and knowledge of baking and decorating.  This knowledge can be demonstrated by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) certification, or a successful interview Knowledge of retail food merchandising and inventory control Excellent verbal communications skills and numerical aptitude Able to interpret and understand instructions and solve problems

Compensation:

Average annually at $43,500
