To be successful, an Assistant General Manager with Teavana should: - Enjoy helping people improve their well-being by promoting the health benefits of tea. - Provide outstanding customer service (greet and acknowledge every customer). - Maintain a detailed knowledge of the companies’ products and services. - Be able to effectively supervise in a selling culture. - Help recruit and train sales staff as needed. - Help motivate and encourage team members to achieve performance goals and targets. - Lead by example (to include selling). - Help the General Manager develop action plans for consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals and controlling expenses. Assistant General Managers receive a competitive hourly pay rate plus a potential monthly bonus based on individual sales. The bonus also includes a percentage of stores sales if the store meets plan for the month. The hourly rate offered depends on a candidates related job experience. Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 years supervising the overall operations of a retail store (or related exp may be considered). Retail experience is preferred. Proven customer service skills.
Able to work a flexible schedule.
Have an aggressive work ethic.
Ambition to grow with Teavana.
Ability to Multi-task.
