Assistant Manager, Art Director Public Relations

Tiffany & Co. is looking for an art director with strong typography skills and a classical design sense to art direct and design Public Relations collateral including press kits, invitations and special events collateral. The art director will work with both the PR and Marketing groups to ensure that initiatives and overall look are synergistic, on strategy, and reflect the Tiffany & Co. brand. Responsibilities will include developing and designing projects that support strategic initiatives, partnering with PR and Visual Merchandising to develop synergistic invitation and collateral programs, art directing still life photo shoots, partnering with the Production Group through all phases of the design process (from researching papers, construction, and printing techniques through retouching and final production), and working with copywriters to include strategic copy when needed. Art director will also provide support to the Sr. Art Director of PR. Ideal candidate will have 5 years graphic design experience; strong typography and graphic design skills; previous art direction experience; high taste level and standards; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; be independent and self-motivated, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
