Assistant Online Store Manager: Mexico - Los Angeles
American Apparel, an innovative and fast-growing clothing manufacturer and retailer in Downtown Los Angeles, is looking for an Assistant Online Store Manager - Mexico to join the web team. We're looking for someone who is a Spanish and English-speaker who has e-commerce and project management experience. A strong candidate will have the necessary skills to assist in the coordination of localization, regionalized marketing and merchandizing for our Mexico Online Store.

As the Assistant Online Store Manager - Mexico you must embody technologist, designer, user interface specialist, information architect, writer, specification-junkie, and detail-freak. You must be able to break down a complex project into tasks, and then pull it all together. You will collaborate with a talented team of designers, writers, web developers, and software developers. You must be exceedingly detail oriented - to the point of obsession. You must be willing to go the extra mile and driven to do a great job.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for task management and project management of internally developed web sites and e-commerce
Coordinate and manage outside contractors and vendors
Document detailed functional specifications for designers and programmers
Ensure the highest quality of final product through testing and validation
Collaborate and guide a multi-disciplined team of experts

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be fluent in English and Spanish. Fluency in another language is desirable
Minimum 3-5 yrs of project management and/or e-commerce experience
Expert familiarity with web software development
Expert familiarity with e-commerce, content management, and database- driven applications
Proven track record of successfully managing creative and technical team  members
