Assistant Retail Manager - High End

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our growing retail team.

Assistant Management candidates must have a proven track record in a fashion-forward, customer-oriented, retail-clothing environment. Must posses at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, or management experience. Must have experience in leadership of a sales team, training & development of clientele standards, supporting store management to drive company initiatives.

 

Responsibilities: Organization, creativity, leadership and a strong passion for fashion Excellent customer service skills, as well as strong knowledge of the fashion industry and its trends A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar high-end retail management position Full time with open availability To be aware of, to maintain and to try to increase sales throughout the year and achieve set financial targets. To liaise with the Head of Retail, regarding financial budgets relating to the shop, in the absence of the Shop Manager. To be fully involved, in close liaison with the Shop Manager, the Head of Retail and HR, with all matters relating to the staff within the shop, with particular reference to recruitment, induction, training, discipline and appraisals. To ensure that correct staffing levels are maintained at all times. To maintain an excellent level of customer service at all times within the shop. To develop customers into loyal clients. To assist the Shop Manager and ensure in their absence, that the shop has the correct levels of stock and that replenishment orders are placed, as required, with close liaison with the Head of Retail. This must be done on a weekly basis. To assist the Shop Manager and ensure in their absence, that the shop is always merchandised to the company’s desired standard and that, with liaison with the Display Department, the shop displays are changed on a weekly basis. To ensure that the staff are given relevant product training throughout the year. To maintain, during the Shop Manager’s absence, close communication with the Buying Office, Press Office and Retail Office, to ensure that up to date and relevant information is relayed.

 

 

Requirements:High End Retail experience required.A professional demeanor and appearance. Reliable, timely, and responsible. Ability to interact with customers. Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, which will include nights and weekends
